Hi obviously im a noob but i drew up a flight plan i had dotted lines to and from the airport (round Trip from Gatwick EGKK ) i managed to make the line arriving the airport solid by imputing the EGKK as the final destination but when i try and use MAY as the first waypoint it doesn’t like it, the MCDU throws a wobbler as i thought i could import that flight and just input the climb out, do i need a sid to fly-out initially, i feel like ive nearly got the hang of it and then get another curve ball heres the route and ive got gatwick twice at the end EGKK DCT MID DCT BOGNA DCT 505224N0001221E DCT TIMBA DCT LLE01 DCT EGKK DCT EGKK

The dashed line indicates you have yet to choose the RWY and SID.
You can add and edit the flight path text string into the text box by clicking on 
top right.
You can then remove the duplicate DCT EGKK to produce:
EGKK DCT MID DCT BOGNA DCT 505224N0001221E DCT TIMBA DCT LLE01 DCT EGKK
