I would like a very basic NAVLOG for inflight use. Since we let Navigraph do the ‘drawing’ and calculating of our route. There is no need for a deviation-column nor True Track (Course) or Heading, etc.
Just Magnetic HDG, Distance and Time which are wind dependent.
I suggest:
A small display with current MH to fly combined with a Time- and Distance To Go (TTG / DTG) count down.
Possibly as an extra:
A printable (pre-flight) log with just Magn. Track and DTG; in which you can fill out the expected wind yourself and thus calculate the MH, TAS and TTG (automatically?) … and a column for fuelburn would be nice.
