Deviating Course Data
The heading/course data displayed in Charts is systematically incorrect. They deviate by approx. 5 to 10 degrees from the correct values.
Example 1): When measuring any RWY Heading by using the new Measurement Tool, the resulting value differs significantly from the RWY HDG given in the applicable Airport chart.
Example 2): The target headings displayed in the aircraft GPS or FMS deviate consistently by 5 to 10 degrees from the values shown on the flight plan tracks displayed in Charts.
I’m not sure when this problem started. I believe the issue came up with the introduction of the new “Approach Bunde.”
