Hello. I made a very simple addon, an airport tag in the xml with only this ils for LILN. It’s a non published but real existing ils.
Since SU3, it stopped working. It only works if i delete the navigraph folders from the community.
CUSTOM_AIRPORT order hint is present but it didn’t change anything. I also cancelled and regenerated the content.xml multitple times. What can I do?

But I’m curious: Did you write that a real-world ILS is missing from the source? May I ask for the reference (AIP Italy) so that we can report this to our data provider?

Thanks for the reply, Richard. Do you think we will have to wait all the way to SU4 to see it fixed?
About the ILS, unfortunately there is no reference to it in the AIP. I’m a real life ATPL student based at LILN and we use this ILS for training, but it’s “unofficial” for some reason. Only used by us and by military Leonardo aircraft (like the AW139) coming to the field. That’s why I had to create it myself

“The use of ILS instrumentation is allowed only to Leonardo company for testing”
ILS data are not provided in 2.19 part, the reason why it is not available in Jeppesen data
I will also be interested to have the details for my own database (ILS type, Id, frequency, GS/DME coordinates if any). LOC 35 is visible on GE

Hi, yes that’s why. It’s only used by Leonardo and us at Aeroclub Varese, the ATO based at the field, for training purposes.
That’s why I added it manually with a custom community package. But since SU3, it’s impossibile to make it work if the Navigraph navdata is also installed in the sim at the same time.

I had an idea. Since I’m just adding the ILS and nothing else, would it make a difference if I built the package as custom navdata instead of a custom airport? Maybe this way it would load with navigraph?

It is Worth trying because it differs slightly from the case in the bug report, which is a complete scene.
But don´t use “CUSTOM NAVDATA” - use “CUSTOM_NAVDATA_PATCH”
Because “CUSTOM NAVDATA” overrides the whole worldwide database, the patch only includes the information included in your package—in your case, it should add your ILS.
