I get this error when trying to update the AIRAC Cycle for my CRJ Series of aircraft. I have the the most up to date aircraft and Navigraph Hub, and have only just started to experience this.
I have installed the CRJ via MSFS and reinstalled it and also reinstalled Navigraph Hub, but to no avail. Any help is gratefully appreciated.
The CRJ V2 can be updated both from within the EFB of the aircraft itself or through Hub.
For Hub to be able to install the data, the aircraft must have been started at least once so that the WASM/workfolder folder for the aircraft is created by the simulator. The above error message comes when Hub cannot find that folder which for MSFS2020 is %localappdata%/packages/Microsoft.Flightsimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalState/packages/aerosoft-crj/work
If you start the simulator and run the aircraft this folder should be created and Hub should be able to install the navigation data. If not please report back here.
(The error message above is a bit misleading as it does not mention that starting the aircraft is neccessary, this has been fixed in the latest version of Hub 1.2.16 which was released earlier today).
