Circle to land with prescribed tracks

Please incorporate all IFR approaches including circle to land approaches with prescribed flight tracks. Merry Christmas!

Are you talking about the approaches like the VPT B Rwy 21 at LFBD, Chart 39-11? A VPT type approach will not usually be found in an FMS as is a visual procedure flown in VFR.

Hi. You probably mean RNP A 05 (VPT) in LFBD because there’s no RWY 21 in LFBD (see the attachment). These are not VFR procedures even if they have no minimum associated with them (also available in FMS). I specifically mean circling procedures with prescribed tracks that are without any doubt IFR procedures that are fully coded in the FMS of airliners, like the circling 25 A/B in LFSB (see attachment). I know this because I fly the A320 professionally in Europe, and it would be great to have these procedures available in MSFS.

Ahh

We have a few of those as well, but they are proprietary. Either designed by us, or another operator of large aircraft, then we pay them a ton of cash to get the engineering data to provide our regulator.

Definitely not free.

I would be open to paying for some of those approaches. In the case of LFSB I doubt that this approach is proprietary because this approach is available in the French AIP.

Hi,
Sorry, we can no longer add some tailored records due to a possible legal issue (see here).

When you can provide us with an official statement from the French authority, we will be able to add it. Sorry, we must take this route now to avoid any potential troubles.

Cheers,
Richard

I wrote an email to the French authority in the hopes that they will provide a confirmation that Navigraph can use the official AIP-information concerning the circling approach to rwy 25 in LFSB. Cheers, Greschi

Thank you very much Gretschi …
I’m sorry for this new situation.

Joyeux Noël
