Tested on Charts for Android and iOS for iPad:
I use Charts mostly on my iPad. It drains the battery quickly when linked to X-Plane. That’s to be expected with all the wifi energy it uses. Therefore, I like to put my iPad on the stand upside-down and plug the power cord into it when flying. When I do so, the charts and maps, etc. are upside-down. It does not flip like every other app I use. Autorotate is turned on. If I rotate my iPad or Android phone 90°, that is to say to landscape mode, the charts align themselves with the orientation fine. It is only “inverted” which does not work.
