Charts not loading on Windows Desktop Client

Just signed up for a subscription, installed and logged in to the Desktop app.

When selecting and airport, then Charts, I get NO chart overlay when clicking the layer button to the left of the pin.

This works fine on my iPhone - but really need to work on the desktop.

Have seen multiple similar reports over the last years.

What is the secret to display say a taxi/Terminal chart on the Desktop app.

btw. Do not load on the Web client either

Regards

Michael

Hello! Welcome to our forum!

As a general rule, that is not possible. See these existing topics for more information:

I don’t remember anything like this. Would you mind providing references? This would help us narrow things down further. I have also added some additional logging to your account in order to see if there are any unexpected errors happening.

Image from desktop client. I selected the Airport, AIrport Info.. layer as seen with the blue highlight - but no chart show up.

iPhone Screenshot - chart shows.

I have seen a few post from a few years back when users report similar issue in the desktop, but ok on the phone. Most frequent answers were in the order of (caching Problem/We fixed an issue here).

I have reviewed your logs and see that the selected chart is requested correctly. It looks like the request timed out after 40 seconds of no response, which indicates that you have a network and/or firewall issue.

Do you have a different computer on which to try the app to rule out your Windows firewall?
Do you have any antivirus software installed besides the built-in Windows Defender?

What happens if you open this link in your browser? You should see an error page immediately.

Works fine on my home computer. Tried both Firefox and Edge for the web client - and the desktop app on my laptop. Likely have some intrusive malware feature installed-

Thanks for your support

I see you marked the topic as solved! What was the solution? Was the initial report carried out using a public/work network connection, and the home network worked fine? Or was it antivirus related?

Or maybe you marked it as solved by accident?
