Charts app blank map

Evening,

Since the last iOS charts update I am getting the below issue constantly. The map just has a spinning icon and doesn’t load the map. Everything else works. I have unloaded and reinstalled the app multiple times. It does work on reinstall but next time you open the app it reverts to spinning icon.

I’m on iOS 26.3

Charts app version is reported to be 8.40.1

That it works when first installed, but not afterwards, suggests a network issue.

Please try resetting your router, ensuring that no antivirus software is operating on it or on your iPad.

Could you try connecting via a Mobile phone hotspot?

Ok so over the last few days I’ve only had a few opportunities to test this. For some reason it isn’t working when my phone is connected to WiFi, when I’m not connected to WiFi and I’m connected to 4G or 5G it works.

I have reset my modem and no change.

Same deal 11 days later, works when not connected to same network as my PC.

This suggests that something on your PC, iPhone, or on the wifi system (router/mesh) is blocking your connection to our servers.

Maybe the iOS update has altered some setting which is causing blockages during Wi-Fi connections?
