Hello, it’s all in the title: how to export the flight plan created on iPad with Charts 8 to X-Plane.

Where is the “copy to clipboard” still on iPad?

Hi,

The Export options are only available in the web and Desktop apps. Are you running XPlane on PC? You can install the Charts Desktop there, and load the same flight plan you created in the iPad app, and then export from there.

Yes, I’m on MacBook Pro M1 but I don’t see how to export the flight plan from the iPad to the Mac?
Are you thinking of a copy/paste of the route at the top of the screen?

With this configuration (a Macbook Pro and an iPad), you can follow this workflow:

  • Create the flight on your iPad
  • Open Navigraph Charts on the Macbook Pro and select the newly created flight
  • Open the “Export” tab, and select any of the available options

To be clear: there is no option to “Export the flight from your iPad to the Mac” - the two have no communication path. But any flight that is created on your account is available on any of your devices!
