Chart v fmc approach

Hi

Question is the approach route from MCT via DAYNE for EGCC Manchester ils 23R in Navigraph having opened from Simbrief is nothing like what is imported into pmdg738? This is happening at other airports too, example being EGNS Islof Man. Is there a glitch, is it me or MSF2020? I never used to have an issue, just import from Simbrief, pick approach in Navigraph and off we go.

Hi Adrian,
Thank you very much for your report, but it appears to be a PMDG issue with the drawing of the flight path on the ND. As you compared it with our charts, the data and sequence appear to be correct, since we also drew the path correctly (from the same data source).

Also, in other addons like the Fenix A320, you see a good result (with the same data behind):

Here is what we offer directly from the PMDG database, which will be used by the 738:

Here is the chart for this sequence:

#1 - from MCT VOR (yellow)
#2 - course to fix CF23R on 51° / 12.3 NM (green)
#3 - track 6° from a fix CF23R for a distance 3.9 NM (blue)
#4 - right turn course to fix CF23R on 232 / 5 NM (orange)

… and you see nearly the same on the legs page of the 738:

Therefore, the coding in the data appears to be correct so far; thus, I assume that this is an incorrect drawing on the ND by PMDG of these sequences. Please report this issue to PMDG, as it can only be resolved by them.
