Once I create a fp I get a message saying can’t locate a file to put the fp into. Do I need to direct the program using the download directory and if so, how do I know where simbief will put the fp? In otherwords, how do I align the directory for the fp with msfs 2020?
Hi…,
Once you Create/Edit and Generate Flight Plan in SimBrief, in Flight Plan Downloads you choose FS2020 and Download:
![]()
You then navigate to your MSFS flight plans directory, likely something like
c:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\ where you save the pln.
To automate this for future saves, I highly recommend SimBrief Downloader
Cheers

Thank you for this. I have created a file as directed. Here it is:Users\pbmar\OneDrive_Community folder for Sim\Flight Plans. I then created a flight plan using Simbrief and the message I get says it is saved here. But when I go to the file itself, there is no flight plan shown. What do you think Imam doing wrong? Thank you!
