Can you be a bit more specific, please.

Are you receiving any error messages?

Have you tried removing the authentication via “Devices” on your Navigraph account, and checking if Charts works again?

Hi Gordon, sorry to not give more detail under this heading, I also had trouble fleshing out the post for some reason. I did solve the issue I had with updating Charts Ver 5. I simply uninstalled Ver 5 and downloaded a fresh version from your webpage and installed that. Charts now works as expected. I’m not sure that I have successfully linked FSLTL and Flight radar24 though. Is there any way of ascertaining that from the Charts UI?

In terms of the error I was getting. On opening version 5 of Charts, I saw a full screen flash suggesting I update to Ver 7, Choosing to go ahead with the update, a browser window opened and said there was no access to site and the download failed. Sorry I don’t have a screenshot as I’m replying after solving the issue as above. Haven’t removed authentication but possibly re-installing achieved that.

Hello,

I would recommend you uninstall the version of charts you have and install a new copy. The Charts app is currently on version 8.43.1. Older Charts version may behave unexpectedly since quite a lot has changed since then and now.

You can find the new version on https://navigraph.com/downloads

Regarding FSLTL, all you need to do is link your account. Once FSLTL is authenticated on your Navigraph account, you don’t need to do anything else. There is no need to worry about Navigraph, Flightradar24 and FSLTL, all that is sorted out in the background.

It seems I already have Ver 8.43.1 installed… thanks for your suggestions though!

To confirm you have successfully linked FSLTL and FlightRadar24,

  • I recommend that when you install FSLTL, you also install the FSLST Traffic Base Models
  • Start MSFS 2024
  • Position your aircraft at a busy location e.g. Gate 73 at KLAX. Choose the external view to see your aircraft and surrounding gates
  • Run FSLTL, press Start in FSLTL
  • You should have a report of batch file execution, and be prompted to answer Y to change settings.
  • The first time, you should answer Y. This will start up the FSLTL Injector Settings. In the dropdown box, make sure you select Navigraph as the Provider.
  • Press Save and Start Injector

  • As the real flights are injected, you should now see aircraft appearing around your own in MSFS2024.

Note that this does not provide such traffic in Navigraph Charts.
