Can I create a free account when I have a paid one?

I would like to set up a free account on another E Mail address, because I am having issues with importing DATA to PMDGs 777 200 ER in MSFS 2024.
To test whether the Data from my account is corrupt I hoped to set up another account, but when I try to start a new one Navipgraph’s system “Helpfully” leaps straight to the "would you like to change your subscription page… and does not let me put in a different E mail address or set up a free account.
I don’t want to cancel my account just set up a test account to eliminate one possible issue
Best Regards

Hello! Welcome to our forum!

To create a new account, you need to either:

  1. Sign out of your current account first (go to navigraph.com/account, then find “Sign out” in the menu to the left) and then create a new account
  2. Open a private/incognito browsing window in your browser of choice and create the account there

This said, there is almost zero likelihood that the issue is with your account. The data is not account-specific, changing the account would not do any difference.

We are actively talking to PMDG, trying to figure headaches like these out before they affect users. Could you elaborate on exactly what your issue is? That way, we can try to reproduce it to see if the issue is on our side! If not, we can communicate with PMDG.

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hi, thankyou for your quick reply, the issue relates to the new PMDG 777 200 in MSFS 2024

I am unable to either load a simbrief flight plan(red) in the 777s fmc or on the occasions when the plan loads ,the winds aloft data prepares to load and then reports invalid data.
This was not occurring in the same 777 200 in 2020 or in other types of 777

I have uninstalled 2024 and all pmdg planes and reinstalled without any joy but it is hard to predict what result will occur ie no plan or no wind data😊
So far I have had no luck with the PMDG Forums or contacting their technical support

Could you provide an example flightplan? After creating your flight in SimBrief, open it from your “Recent flights” list (found in the home page, press “View”) and copy the URL. Then post it here. The link should look something like this:

https://dispatch.simbrief.com/briefing/<-- number here -->

SimBrief - Flight Briefing

Alright - I can’t reproduce the red flightplan. The route import works fine:

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the 777 as per this post:

I can reproduce the wind uplink error:

I checked the aircraft work folder, and the relevant .wx file is in there. You can check for yourself in this folder:

%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2024\pmdg-aircraft-77er\work\WX

I also checked the logs, which seem to confirm that the wind downloads are reported as successful on their side:

Unfortunately, no more logs would bring insights around the invalid uplink message. Since I can’t find anything related in the manual, this is as far as I can help you at the moment! This seems to be a PMDG issue.

I’ll reach out to PMDG directly to see if there is anything we can help out with from the SimBrief side!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Thankyou for checking for me , I suspect it’s either at PMDGs end or my installation

Hi!!! Today after PMDG issued an update everything (so far, this is fs 2024) is working !!
I don’t know if the update or your efforts or fluke has fixed it, but either way Thankyou for your concern, input and efforts
Best Regards

Hello!

PMDG informed us that an update would be released to fix some of the issues. That seems to align with your experience, which is great to hear!

Of course, anytime! We’re happy to help.

Kind Regards,
Malte

It looks like it was a fluke ish!!! The current fix for route planning I have found is to delete the PMDG WASM contents, this has made the route load reliable, but the forecast data still shows invalid data :+1:

That’s too bad. Unfortunately I can’t help you further, but please do reach out to PMDG for further assistance! I hope the issue gets resolved, sounds like they are working on related issues.
