Bermuda, TXKF is not in the database

Hello,

I was about to start a flight out of bermuda, TXKF, however I could not file it in my FMC because it kept telling me that it was not in the default X-Plane data base, when in reality is. It kept saying I might not have enough runway room. I have plenty of runway room, especially for the challenger 300. So I am not sure what is causing this issue. What am I missing.

Hi,
sorry, I can´t reproduce it - assuming you use XP11 (according your FMC screenshot) with the Challenger 300 v2, here I can enter TXKF without any problems:

… and here the status page with our AIRAC 2403 installed:

According your status page, you don´t use our database. Your NAV DATA are “WORLD (424)”, so differ to our database. Change the database to the Navigraph Database and try it again please - it should work. We don´t support any 3rd party databases, sorry.

Cheers
Richard

Hey, thanks for pointing that out. I’m not sure how to change the NAV data. As a matter of fact, I don’t think I’ve ever changed it. Let me figure that out.

Ok, that fixed the issue with Bermuda, but now other airports that previously worked are no longer working, for example, Key West. I feel like I am going insane lol.

Hi,
it looks more a addon issue, because when you try to enter KEYW in the stock Boeing 737, you have no problems:

Here from the stock B737, which use exactly the same data as the Challenger 300:

… when I try the same in the Challenger:

So, please report this to the devs of the Challenger - something doesn´t work as it should. You can try it by yourself - load the stock B737, open the FMC and enter the airport-codes. You will see, it works … so, it looks, that this is a addon issue rather a navdata issue.

Thank you,
Richard
