I have latest version of the android app, dec 2025. always crashing when showing VFR charts. Works perfect though on iPAD Ver 17.7.

The minimum Android spec for Charts is Android 11. While, sure, Charts will operate with Android 8, unexpected behavior may be expected with OS builds <11, possibly what you are experiencing.
