Altitude coded at all Vietnam Airport problem

I recently working on nAIP of China and saw most of them are rounded feet, this for example

Navigraph coded it as close as possible in feet

That really made me wonder, why ? why is that, our airport procedure also written in meters

But on chart it appeared that all rounded ?

I dont have a LIDO chart on hand at this moment but as far as I can tell LIDO do not rounded like Jepp, and real life pilot also told me that altitude not rounded like that, it like China style and LIDO one.
but… why ?
If you guys need data for that, here is our AIP: https://www.vnaic.vn/images/stories/vnaic.vn/SanPhamDichVu/AIPVietNam/AIP/2024-04-30/html/index-en-GB.html

Hi,
Jeppesen offers all in feet. It’s a US company compared to Lido. I’m curious where you see a rounding - when you compare XN803, the AIP charts show 3900m / 12800 feet … so both are correct in the AIP and Jeppesen charts.

Most countries use feet as a global unit, but modern aircraft can switch between meters and feet. So, it should not be an issue for the cockpit crew to follow possible ATC instructions for the other unit (meter or feet).

Feet is international … and Jeppesen uses this unit in the data and charts.

I can’t see any problem here. Your example charts uses both units, Lido possible meters only and Jeppesen feet only. All is international and correct.

Hole that helps
Richard

LIDO charts display the same as Jeppesen, both include a conversion table.

You appear to be referring to the map function which is data driven.
