Simbrief appears to want to select low altitude airways then limit the altitude assigned to 16,000 ft. Is there a way to designate whether high or low airways are used?
Hello, no as of right now. SB will calculate the most efficient altitude taking into consideration the upper level winds. Just a reminder, you can force an attitude in which to fly.

Thanks for the reply. Well, if I take out the low altitude airways changing the connection to DCT, Simbrief will come back with a higher altitude most of the time. It will sometimes go from 16,000 ft to FL025 or even higher. I would like to be able to prevent the use of low altitude airways on longer flights. A button to manually select this option would be fine rather than having Simbrief try to make the decision.

Simbrief almost never generates routes. In many/most cases, the route is simply the last route entered by a regular Simbrief user for the given airport pair.
