Hello! I’ve been a faithful user of Simbrief for several years now and have welcomed every feature added. But I would like to point out something that has bugged me for some time.
The Airport Forecast - Alternate layer is a great tool not only for choosing decent alternates, but also to gauge the weather situation in a region. I love that you get info about the runway length + altitude and ILS approaches available. The problem is, you don’t get this info for the airports that are already chosen as alternates, which makes it hard to decide at a glance if the alternate was decent or not. You have to keep typing new alternates, to change the map and get the info you wanted. Annoying…
Also, it would be a very welcome feature if alongside the ILS available you can see WHICH runway it is for. It helps to quickly decide if the winds favor using that approach or not, which would rule out a potential alternate airport with poor weather and winds from the wrong side.
I hope my input is useful and maybe we can get an update to improve this.
