Airbus A320 neo (iniBuilds) - PS5 fligh-plan not downloaded iniBuilds EFB

Please only mention one issue per topic so that others can easily see what has been reported

What I expected to happen.

After connecting using my SimBrief ID and / or Username, I want to download a flight-plan. This flight-plan can be downloaded in other airplanes with a iniBuilds EFB on PS5, like the Fokker F27 or the Airbus A400M.

What actually happened

I connected to SimBrief and there don’t seem to be any error messages I tried this with both my SimBrief Pilot ID and my SimBrief Username:

When trying to download a flightplan I get an error message. I can download the same flight-plan in e.g. the iniBuilds A400 or F-27:

Use your numerical SimBrief Pilot ID instead of the user name.

Then try importing the flightplan.

I did try both options, but I will try again

I tried both options too - no luck? It will not recognise my ID or username???

In the EFB options, enable the onscreen keyboard and use this to enter your numerical SimBrief ID.

Please confirm this resolves the issue.

Cheers

Ian

No, exactly the same result. it does not work.
Just to be sure we are talking about the same thing: my only option to enter numbers is the PS5 on-screen keyboard, there is no option to activate the iniBuilds EFB keyboard available on some other airplanes.
I entered my SimBrief Pilot ID, 133xxxx
I generated a flight-plan specifically for this airplane

Unfortunately, the result remains the same

Its difficult to reproduce as we do not have easy access to a PS5, however..

  • Plug in a wired mouse so you get the mouse cursor.
  • Select Options.
  • Enable the Onscreen Keyboard.
  • Click on the blank SimBrief User ID tab.
  • Enter your numerical ID using the EFB keyboard, not the PS5 onscreen keyboard.

Thanks, issue solved.

So the key factor in these iniBuilds airplanes is the EFB keyboard. Not the most obvious, because the on-screen keyboard that pops-up immediately must be ignored first … good to know.
Would that be documented somewhere?

:+1:

Yep! seems like the PS5 on screen keyboard has issues, unfortunately :frowning:

Its an ongoing issue for several years no, fixed, broken, fixed.. clearing cache has been reported as a “fix”. Im not entirely sure, however.

I’m glad you’re able to log in though, great news!
