HI, I purchased the Fenix A320 and noticed the default Airac was 2503, so updated it via the Hub to 2604, hub indicates it installed correctly, but when in the A/C the simbrief flightplan was not recognised and the fmc would not show any data at all, on the FMC init page it says the active database is F101, I’m using the default Livery. I uninstalled the Fenix and reinstalled and everything was Ok with the default 2503 AIRAC, but a soon as I updated again from the HUB i got the same problem. Not sure if this is an issue with Fenix or the HUB but I have also contacted Fenix support but with no reply so far. What files should be in the Navdata folder?.
Thanks, Mark
Hi Mark,
Thanks for contacting us. To be aligned with your issue, and that I fully understand it:
You have installed the AIRAC cycle via the Hub, but in the MCDU, you don´t see the correct cycle. Also, please let me know which Fenix version you have installed - the latest one, v2.4.0.4720?
Screenshots are helpful to see the F101 message (haven´t seen/read anything about it) - here from my Fenix with AIRAC 2604 installed:
Lastly, please forward your Fenix ticket number so we have a reference for Fenix.
Thank you,
Richard
Hi Fenix number #60965, fenix ver .4720
attached pics.
Thanks, Mark
Ui, thanks for the screenshots …
Never seen this - from where are the ENG values, also the F101?
Can you re-install the Fenix, please? Don´t update the data … only use the default installation. Can you than post a screenshot of the MCDU again, please?
Thank you,
Richard
Hi Richard, have done a complete uninstall/Reinstall of the A320, no liveries added, here is a screenshot of the MCDU,
Thanks Mark
Thanks again, ok, checked … you have used another ENG type, which explains the differences.
Now used the same engine as the current cycle:
Looks good so far - run the HUB now and install the current cycle. After that, start the sim and close it. Make a screenshot of the Navdata folder, please …
Thank you,
Richard
Hi Richard, seems to be good now, dont know why it didnt work with the first reinstall though?
Kind regards, Mark
Strange but good that it is fixed. Thank you, Mark, for the feedback. I have marked this topic as solved. Let us know whenever you have any other questions or issues.
Have a nice afternoon
Richard
