I just tried to update to AIRAC 2511 via navigraph hub. I booted the fenix application after updating to check the database but it only flashed for half a second. FMGC in game shows the default database (2303?) that came with Fenix.
Thank you for the update! We’re happy to hear that it works for you again.
Hi I’m sorry unfortunately the database reverted back to 2303 after a second boot. I’m still unable to locate the issue.
There are some issues in the currently released navigation data which we are actively looking into and working on. We will let you know as soon as we have a revision out - in case that would be related to this issue!
Right now the fenix bootstrapper flashes “checking the database” for half a second on every startup (which I don’t think is supposed to be happening every single time the aircraft loads). Seems like that the database is not read by the aircraft at the moment.
Hi,
Please reinstall the Fenix AIRAC cycle 2511 via the Hub now and try again. Please report back your result …
Thank you,
Richard
Also having the same problem tried uninstalling and reinstalling once update gives option to remove then moves back to saying update. In the sim shows the correct airac is installed though.
Please close the Hub completely and reopen it. It should work …
Thank you,
Richard
That worked this time. Thank you.
I tried clearing WASM cache and did a fresh install of the navdata. 2511 loaded in correctly the first time i boot the aircraft. But as soon as I quit to the main menu, hop on another airframe and load in again the database reverts back to 2303.
Strange, but that’s any other issue than … What SIM do you use, 2020 or 2024?
Cheers,
Richard
I’m on the latest version of msfs2024 su4 beta.
Working fine now. Not sure what was happening but I just repeated the steps 4 times. No reversion back to 2303.
Ahh ufff
… Thanks for your feedback and your report, of course!
Enjoy the Fenix,
Richard
plz use the previous navdata format—I don’t see any benefit to the new one. I’ve created a lot of custom data using the old format, and now none of it works now. ![]()
Hi,
May I ask which format you mean? There is no old or new format … What do you mean by your comment?
Cheers
Richard
@FHASHFASHIOSF just for info:
So, you were right … sorry. We are fixing this and will build a new revision.
When it is done, I will let you know …
Sorry again!
Cheers
Richard
