After creating flight plan

After creating a flight plan in navigraphcharts simlink and export it to xplane 12, How do I get xplane to see it? Also does it work with the GTN 750

After creating a flight plan in simlink for x plane 12 , exporting it to xplane. then what.
X-plnne does not see it. Seems all my aircraft don’t acknowledge the plan.

In SimBrief, export to something like…your X-Plane 12\Output\FMS plans.
Once set up, SimBrief Downloader makes this automatic .

For default 737, in the FMS, click the ROUTE MENU button. From the route menu, click the CO ROUTE LIST button. The list of all saved flight plans will be displayed. Select the desired flight plan by clicking on its corresponding button.

new to navigraph so bear with me. I created a flight plan in sim link and from there tried to export it to xplane but xplane does not see it . Also expoted it to simbrief and exported it and xplane still does not se the plan. Nothing works. file does go into output/fms plans but aircraft can not see it. One other question if I create a plan in simlink why do I have to go to simbrief? Maybe just use simbrief and forget about simlink.

Simlink is the tool providing Moving Map functionality. It has no flight planning capability.

Flight plans are created in SimBrief or Navigraph Charts. Either can be used to export flight plans suitable to be entered into the FMS or MCDU of many X-Plane 12 aircraft.

Please use the exact steps I have above to input the SimBrief generated flight plan.
If unclear please posts screenshots of the steps you are taking using Guide to posting Screenshots.

Maybe use the default 737 for commonality.

screen one is the plan I created in Navi charts, it is what I maybe called simlink in error
screen 2 is the export page I use and screen 3 is the xplane output folder. When I go to xplane nothing loads. there is 2 kstl- kbna files , one is created within xplane that has nothing to do with navi charts and the other is the one that got exported from navi charts
I have exported it to 2 file formats Flight1 GTN as .gfp and X-plane 11/12 as a .fms with no results. The moveing map feature in navi charts does work while in xplane is in use. i created a f/p in sim brief with the same results nothing

when I say i created a flight plan in simbrief, i do not know how to export it to xplane after the plan is created, so sim brief is kinda useless to me. been reading the help files for 2 days and getting ready to give up

Ok, I just created a flight plan in the latest Navigraph Charts 8.38.1 for KSTL-KBNA. I exported it in X-Plane 11/12 fms format to F:\X-Plane 12\Output\FMS plans:

It shows in file manager:

In the X-Plane 12 737:

I choose the KSTLKBNA flightplan and it loads:

In SimBrief,

I create and Generate flight KSTL-KBNA:

If you regularly do this I recommend you set up SimBrief Downloader to automate these last 3 steps.

I choose the KSTLKBNA01 flightplan and it loads:

Hope this helps

not at all because it dosent work for me.
great that it works for you but not for me with any aircraft
been trying to make it work on the kingair 350 /cessna172/pilatus pc12
nothing

Please try the same steps as mine with the same aircraft, and post any screenshots that differ.

Look at my screen shots above and tell me what I am doing wrong. First i create a f/p
Then I export it just like you did into output / fmsplans. Go to aircraft and no plans are available in gtn750 / gns430 /530 or g1000 in any aircraft. I have done it with both navicharts and simbrief with no results. You ask for screen shots and I have given them. Look at them and tell me what is wrong. I am a private pilot with cessna 150/172 and a little baron 58 experience. I am not a boeing or airbus person and the fms is not well understood by me, so lets get this working on the props and tubo props useing the 450/750/and g1000

To load fms plans into the say X-Plane 1000,
Export flight plan from Charts in X-Plane 11/12 fms format to Z:\X-Plane 12\Output\FMS plans, say KSTLKBNA.fms
In X-Plane 1000,

Thanks for this info as I can get the f/p to work on the 1000 but still been trying to get it to work on the realityxp GTN750.
The GTN uses a gfp file and to select the f/p from the import list on the 750 the file has to be in C: programData/Garmin/Trainers/Databases/FLPN and not output/fms plans.
When I do this I can see the plan and import it to the catalog. Only thing is there is no sids or stars on the plan. I have to manually doctor it up.
My Question is, and I am beginning to believe that the gtn750 and navigraph charts /simbrief do not work together. You must have come across others with my issue and the 750,have you?
Another question is when exporting I have used X-Plane11/12. I also tried to use Flight1 GTN as it says it creates a gfp file
And now i just noticed another TDS GTNXi which I think creates a gfp. Never used
thx for your time

I tried 1 more time. Exported using Fligh1 GTN to the folder c: programdata/garmin/trainers/databases/FLPN

Then in x plane I go to my f/p tab select menu to go to my import page and select import and my file is there.

when I select kstl-kbna this is what I get.

I select ok and activate and have a plan with no sids or stars.
At this point I add in the missing way points and add it to the catalogue.
and this is what i have.

Select activate and then go to go.
Seems like a crappy way to go and am wondering what others with the garmin 750 do, if you know of any.
Got to be a better way I just don’t know of it.
Cannot find any youtube vids on it with x xplane, lots with MSFS 2024 and 750 but no x plane.
sorry for being a pest

I am sorry, as per Exporting flightplans into gtn 750 - #5 by stephen, we don’t support Navigation Data updates and flightplan loading into the Realityxp GTN750.

There are a number of related posts in the forum accessed by searching on Realityxp GTN750.

After trying to create numerous flight plans with navicharts it seems that I can never finish a plan. Always a sid or star approach is missing. Why I do not know?
So after giving up on it, I tried to use simbrief. Put in departure and arrival, aircraft type and a plan is sort of completed but from there no sid or star can be added
to plan.

what is needed to continue?

If you are referring to the JESEY5 not connecting to the approach to RWY 28L, this is because some approaches expect ATC vectors as specified on the Chart:
