Hello Navigraph team,
With the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Lido charts are now integrated into the simulator and the official MSFS flight planning website. Access to these charts is granted through Xbox/Microsoft login, which serves as a verification method to confirm ownership of MSFS 2024.
I’d like to request a feature for the Navigraph Charts app (desktop and mobile):
Allow sign-in via Xbox/Microsoft login, similar to the MSFS web-based flight planner, in order to authenticate MSFS 2024 ownership and provide access to Lido charts directly through the Navigraph Charts app.
This would enable users who already have access to Lido charts through their MSFS 2024 account to view and use those charts outside the sim — including on phones, tablets, or separate PCs — using the Navigraph Charts interface.
Benefits:
- Extends the usefulness of the MSFS-included Lido charts beyond the sim environment
- Allows mobile/tablet-based use of charts for flight prep or EFB-like usage
- Reduces dependency on third-party solutions when access already exists through MSFS
This integration would significantly improve workflow flexibility for MSFS 2024 users, especially those who prefer using dedicated devices during flight operations and giving LIDO access for those who prefer it outside the simulator (since navigraph doesn’t have LIDO).
Thank you for considering this request.
