Macbook Air

Post by Jessica8888 » Sun Mar 10, 2019 1:40 pm

Hi

Returning to flightsim after a number of years so expecting that things may have changed somewhat.

Ive seen the area in part of the forums that relate to iPad and was wondering if I can use the Navigraph app on my MacBook Air. I'm not looking to connect to fsx flightsim so no worries there

thanks in advance

Charts Desktop will run on a MacBook Air, yes (provided it runs macOS 10.10 or later).

You can also use Charts Cloud on any web-capable device via a web browser.

FMS data manager may run on a MacBook Air, but I don't know if you can use it to update addons on another computer; you should install it on the same computer as your flight simulator, else things will get really complicated.

Thanks for your replies Tim

Yes, MacBook macOS is updated to latest OS
Basically, all i'm after is to run the charts program on my Mac. Nothing else. So long as I can update charts then I will be happy.
All other updates for a/c, pfpx etc I will update manually if thats possible, which I think it is but I'll stand corrected.

Thank you

Terry
