start of subscription and duration

Post by killerbee1958 » Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:16 pm

Hi

If i subscribe now (15/1/20) for the annual FMS data, what cycles do i get?

The 2019 cycles (so only 1914 effectively) or do i get 1914 until 2012 or do i get 2001 till 2013 and do i have to wait till 28/1 for the first cycle

(or even better, do i get full 2020 and additionally 1914 to get me going now?

regards

Fred

Fred,

Unsure what you mean by 1914. There is no such cycle. Year 2019 is over so you don’t get any cycles from last year. The current cycle is 2001. The cycle release dates are shown here: https://www.navigraph.com/FmsData.aspx

You get access to data until 15 jan 2021 (one year from now). The data available is always the current cycle. Meaning all cycles from the current cycle (2001) through cycle 2013 plus 16 days of cycle 2014.

Regards,

Stephen

Hello,

My question pertains to a mid-month purchase of a monthly charts / FMS data subscription. If I were to purchase today (March 14), would I have access to the latest cycle only (i.e. Feb 27) or would the subscription also encompass the upcoming Mar 26 cycle (i.e. released 12 days after purchase). I will probably initially purchase one month, unsubscribe and then re-evaluate how frequently I need to update.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

You would have access for one month, i.e. to April 14. And have access to the current cycle at any point during that time. Cycle 2003 until March 25, and Cycle 2004 from March 26-April 14.

Regards,

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Thank you very much for your response. I would also like to confirm that the FMS data is useable post Apr 14 but charts access would be discontinued as of that date. Also, if I unsubscribe after the initial purchase, will it be necessary to set up a brand new Navigraph account to purchase the then current cycle at a future date?

Best regards.

Hi,

Yes the data you have downloaded would be useable after Apr 14, but would of course not be possible to update from our servers. Charts access would end after Apr 14.

You keep one and only one account, with which you turn the subscription on and off. So no, you would not create a new account for making a new purchase later on.

Regards,

Stephen
