# Who writes the code?

Just downloaded the latest Simlink program and I have to say you guys are to intrusive when designing software.
The new Simlink shows in Windows 11, Task Manager, Startup Apps as enabled even though I do have it unselected in the Simlink settings page. Why put an option to not start Simlink during system startup when you still forced it thru the Startup apps?
Also, why don’t you offer the user an option for installing in a custom folder of there choosing on none of your programs, ie… Charts, FMS data manager.

Hi…,
We shall consider your suggestion to streamline the Simlink options.
For reasons of support we are trying to eliminate options for varying install folders.
