Hi, tried to find this issue mentioned before but without success.
Since some time now - could somehow be since MS/Asobo updated the recent AIRAC for MS2024 - the simbrief dispatcher does create proper flightplans but once imported it only shows departure and arrival airport and nothing in between except a straight line - not the waypoints given in the flightplan. did delete and reinstall dispatcher but no help.
On a side - and maybe related - note, this also applies to importing the FP in FMCs like Fenix or INI350, uplink unvalid is what I get in 99% of all attempts.
Yes, I have no AIRAC subscription and do not plan to get one but this worked so far also with the old frozen version, both in FS2024 and any 3rd party aircraft.

You are using two different source providers: ASOBO/MS uses Lido as its data source. We use Jeppesen as our source. Both use different waypoint-ident conventions, so it’s possible that some waypoints are not included in the Lido data due to the other naming convention.
During an AIRAC cycle period, there are a lot of changes in airways, waypoints, procedures, on airports/runways … so when you use an old/outdated cycle to create a flightplan, it is not guaranteed that you can use this flightplan 1:1 in a system with a current AIRAC cycle (independent of the source provider).
Compare it with a car navigation system. Sometimes streets are renamed, moved, closed, or added. So, when you plan a route with an outdated navigation system, you can’t expect all streets, roads, and numbers to be the same … and such navigation systems will not be updated every 28 days.
And last, it can also be an incompatible 3rd-party scenery on your system, which results in this effect (reference FAQ here)
I would recommend checking the 3rd-party sceneries.
I have tested your example from the screenshot - all waypoints are included (at least with the current AIRAC 2604):
I am fully aware that AIRACs may and in my case do differ but that did not prevent me to use the dispatcher since it came out, even for FS2020. Hence my reluctance to believe different AIRACS are the culprit. I was wondering whether SU5 broke something but obviously I am the only one. So well, good point to let me check my community folder. will rename it and see what happens. will report back
Well actually funny that even if I open the same flight in the online planner there are no waypoints along the map? would expect to see them here, at least?
Another update to above but need new post for another picture: once I edit above FP online I DO see the waypoints… but only until I click on “generate”…?!
Depending on where you create the flightplan, but in general, the “Detailed Navlog” should be enabled when you want to transfer the flightplan from A-B.
yes, solved indeed. almost embarassing but never thought about that little tick box and could BET I never touched it the last years, but well… it works now also in FS2024. Thanks for the hint into the right direction
