# VR: Missed Copy and Paste function

I am a VR pilot, mostly in the FBW A320.
The ATC often specifies a different runway than previously planned in Navigraph.
If I now change the runway in VR with Navigraph, I would also like to change it also in Simbrief.
To do this, I select the export in 2D and copy it into Simbrief.
In VR, this export is not offered as Copy to Clipboard.
Unfortunately, the top line, in which the flight plan is specified point by point, cannot be selected either.
It would therefore be important for VR pilots to have a function that allows copy and paste.

Hello! Thanks for your feedback!
I see your use case, and we shall consider making the `Copy to Clipboard` option available in the panel. Unfortunately, we are pretty limited in terms of what means are available for us to do this, so it could be a technical challenge to achieve!
I will let you know once I have any updates on this!

We have now added the clipboard as an export option in the panel. Try it out and let us know what you think!

Hello Malte,
Yes, thank you for quickly taking on board suggestions for improvement. The copy function works.
But now you need
- either on the keyboard, which opens when you activate the edit mode on the top line above the Navigraph window, a key with “Insert” and
- if possible, a key to select the entire text (of course, it is also more laborious with the backspace key)
and/or
In Simbrief Dispatch under “Edit Flight”, when clicking in the “Selected Route” field, a keyboard, also with the Backspace and Paste keys

We have done some more investigation, and it appears that this should be possible! If all goes to plan, we shall be trying something out in the SimBrief EFB app soon.

Could you elaborate on what you need this for? To clear the field, press the `x` to the right inside of it. To copy the route, use the “Copy to clipboard” button. During what workflow do you need to select the whole text?

SimBrief Dispatch should now also have an onscreen keyboard! As mentioned earlier, we will be trying out a paste function soon.
