While on the approach to Frankfurt, I tried to access EDDF charts in preparation for landing. A notice came up telling me there was an update and recommending to do it straight away. I did and immediately my P3D flight crashed to desktop and 10 hours flying were lost.
Never had a CTD with Navigraph before.

Sorry to hear of the crash. Any such updates can certainly wait till non flying.

Maybe it would be useful to recognise if P3D is running and to issue a warning NOT to update while running. As is done by FSDT for one.
