# Unable to start xPlane 11

Can someone help me please.
I have updated Navigraph FMS dat to to 2207 as I had a couple of aircrafts that were not up to date. I tried to start up xPlane 11, but I had the following message " **Loading navigation data failed. Cycle mismatch between earth\_fix.dat and earth\_nav.dat. These files must come from the same data cycle**."
Could some one please advise to overcome this problem.

Hi Miklos,
You may have copied navdata to the wrong location. I suggest
Make sure X-Plane is not running.
Run … your X-Plane 11\X-Plane 11 Installer.exe with _Update X-Plane_ option to check installed files and restore file structure.
In FMS Data Manager _Settings_, check you are running latest Version 1.8.9.0421 . If not please download and install [FMS Data Manager](https://navigraph.com/account/downloads/fmsdm).
In FMS Data Manager _Settings_, check your X-Plane 11 path is correct, by navigating to X-Plane.exe.
In _Addon Mappings_, delete entry _X-Plane 11 (11.50+)_.
Press _Scan_. Are you now seeing entry _X-Plane 11 (11.50+)_ ?
If yes, in _Addon List_ please select _X-Plane 11 (11.50+)_ and _Update_.
