Hello everyone,
Ever since I downloaded Navigraph Hub for my PC, I haven’t been able to open it at all.
When I double-click the program icon, absolutely nothing pops up.
I’ve already tried all these troubleshooting steps:
- Restarted my computer multiple times
- Fully uninstalled and reinstalled Navigraph Hub from official website repeatedly
- Right-clicked the program and launched it as administrator
- Turn off Windows Defender Firewall
- Completely uninstalled all third-party antivirus software on my computer, no security tools left running
But the problem still persists.
My PC specifications:
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: i7-12700KF
- GPU: RTX 4060
- Simulator: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
I’d really appreciate it if anyone could offer effective solutions or advice!
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
Let’s try to figure out how we can solve this. Can you:
- Press Win + R
- Type
%appdata%/navigraph-hub/logs and press enter
- In the Explorer window that opens, locate the
main.log file
- Upload this file to your next post
Please also check:
- In the past, other users had issues with their GPU rendering so I’d recommend updating your GPU driver.
- Check that you have Windows time synced to local real time.
Cheers
Erik
Hi Erik,
Thank you for your guidance. I followed your steps exactly, but unfortunately, Windows shows an error saying the file or folder cannot be found and tells me to check if the file name is correct.
Since the app can’t even generate any log files when I try to launch it, could you share some further troubleshooting steps for this situation?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Hi,
Please upload a screenshot of the security tab of the hub folder:
Enter %appdata%
→ right click on the folder navigraph-hub
→ select properties
→ select the tab Security
→ select your user name (blue line/background)
→ make a screenshot of this tab
as an example:
My assumption is that you have permission issues on your system and that your system can´t create the logs folder or the main.log file.
Cheers,
Richard
Hi Richard,
I followed your instructions and opened the %appdata% (AppData/Roaming) folder, but there is no folder named navigraph-hub inside it.
The actual installation path of Navigraph Hub on my computer is AppData/Local/Programs/navigraph-hub. I right-clicked this folder and opened its Properties window, then captured a screenshot of the Security tab as requested.
I’ve attached two versions of the screenshot: the original Chinese Windows interface, and an AI-translated English version for your easier reference.
My Administrator account has full read/write/modify permissions for this Local folder, as shown in the screenshot. Even with full permissions, the program still fails to launch.
Thank you for your help!
Cheers
Hi,
Thanks for your screenshots… it seems there is an issue with your system because the Hub installation procedure installs the files in the Roaming folder rather than the Local folder. A second thing is your Programs folder under the Local folder. That is really, really weird because by default, Win11 has no such folder inside the Local folder.
The combination of these is possibly the reason the Hub can´t be started on your system, because the system simply doesn´t find it in the expected location.
We can´t really say what the reason for the mess on your system is, but what we can say and what we see is that there is an issue with your OS and/or links/folders on your OS.
I would highly recommend fixing the OS issues before proceeding with any further installation. As Erik explained, the Hub is looking in the %appdata%/navigraph-hub folder and expects it to be the installation folder. Sorry, but it does not look like a Hub issue; it appears to be a real OS issue on your system. Not very helpful, I know, but this is outside our support area. I´m sorry.
Cheers,
Richard
Hi Richard,
Thank you very much for your detailed analysis. I fully understand that the abnormal folder structure of my Windows system leads Navigraph Hub to fail to run normally, and this problem stems from my operating system rather than the software itself.
I plan to completely reinstall my Windows system, then install MSFS 2024 and Navigraph Hub to test whether the problem can be solved.
Thanks again for your patient help and professional guidance!
Cheers
Thank you very much for your understanding and also your kind words. I will keep this topic open. As soon as you have a final result, please let me know, but no rush … I´m pretty sure that the re-install helps to resolve your issue - the downside is (and I´m sorry for that): your time to make a full new installation - a lot of time
Thanks again, and please keep us informed, even when all went well
crossing the fingers!
Cheers,
Richard
Hi Richard,
Happy to give you an update.
After completely reinstalling Windows alongside MSFS 2024 and Navigraph Hub, everything works perfectly! Navigraph Hub launches successfully now.
I hope this thread can help anyone facing the identical problem in the future.
Many thanks for all your support!
Cheers
