The TACAN SKR Freq: 110.40 / Channel 41X at Skrydstrup Airbase, Denmark seems not to work.
Flying in MSFS2024 with the Black Square Commander 114, I’m not able to pick up the signal.
Is this a bug with the Navigraph MSFS2024 Navdata ?

Do you receive the signal in any other stock aircraft? So, not using an addon aircraft?
The TACAN is included in the data so you should receive it. Therefore the question.

I tried it with the default Cessna 172 and the same things kind of happens:
AS You kan see - the GSN 500 (Default) receives the signal and displays the radial and distance, but the OBI does not show any indication.
Could also be an SU 6 issue, cause I have never experienced this before.
Maybe it get’s rejected because it is a TACAN and not a VORTAC or VOR.
We only offer the underlying data, not the logic of how the sim handles it. In this example, you get a signal that means (at least) the TACAN is included, available, and working, but possibly not in the way you expect. It may be a SIM limitation, a bug in SU6, or something similar, but it is now clear that the TACAN is available and selectable.
I have seen exactly the same as you, during my tests, and my personal assumption is either a SU6 issue or an MSFS imitation.
What I have not tried, possibly worth trying, is to remove our data, start the sim, and try it again. Do you receive a fully correct signal then?

I tried uninstalling the Navigraph Navdata-Base and the same occured, so it´s not Navigraph, but a MSFS2024 issue.
I actually remember back in my P3D days the same issue existe, which could be fixed bu changing TACAN’s to VORTAC’s or VOR’s, using an app called “Airport Design Editor” (AFCAD Editor).
So maybe it´s a carry over from earlier Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Lol…
Seems You have been into this before - I found this:
Richard is correct
And it will depend whether the aircraft is equipped with a TACAN receiver (military aircraft) or a standard NAV (VORDME) receiver (civilian aircraft). Standard NAV receivers only receive the DME part of the TACAN while TACAN receivers normally provide the azimuth and DME from the TACAN facility. Now, from my experience, it appears the internal coding of TACANs in BGL files doesn’t always provide a working azimuth even on aircrafts equipped with a TACAN gauge.
So maybe the way it works is correct, so in civil Aircraft we only get the DME signal from a TACAN.
