# Simlink stuck on authentication

### Operating System

Windows 10

### Description of the Issue

Hi, Simlink used to work perfectly fine until yesterday when for some reason it keeps getting stuck on the “Waiting for user authentication” thing after I press sign in. I’ve had a look at past forums and none of the previously mentioned fixes have worked.

Hi…,

Welcome.

Please:

- Make sure you Windows time is synced to local real time.

- Disable any antivirus and firewall.

- Reset your modem.

- Restart machine.

- Uninstall Simlink, then download, install, and run [Simlink](https://navigraph.com/downloads) .

- Check you are logging in with your subscribed email.
