SimBrief API Outage / Timeout

SimBrief API Outage / Timeout – Cannot generate or load OFP (GSX, FSHud, Charts affected)

Hi team,

I’m experiencing a total lockout from SimBrief services for the past hour and need some assistance or clarification.

The issue:

  • I cannot generate or load any Operational Flight Plan (OFP).

  • In the Dispatch/Planner web interface, the main route header loads, but the actual OFP section stuck indefinitely on skeleton/loading bars (screenshot attached).

  • All external integrations using the SimBrief API (GSX, FSHud, Navigraph Charts, EFB) fail to pull data and throw continuous timed out / connection failed errors.

  • Trying to log in or access the main website via mobile network (LTE/5G) also hangs indefinitely on the login screen or fails to load the OFP.

Troubleshooting already done:

  • Internet connection: Fully stable. Speedtest shows ~613 Mbps down / 106 Mbps up with 2ms ping.

  • Browser test: Tested across multiple desktop browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) with cleared cache/cookies.

  • Network isolation: Tested on mobile data (cellular LTE/5G) outside my home ISP network — the issue persists on mobile as well.

Since this affects the website, mobile access, and all direct API requests simultaneously across different networks, it seems like a backend/authorization/OFP generation service failure or a severe routing node outage.

Is there an ongoing outage with the OFP generation servers, or is the API currently undergoing unannounced maintenance?

Thanks in advance for checking.

Everything is back to normal now. Since all the logs clearly showed the issue was on the backend side, consider this resolved. You can close or lock this thread. Thanks!

Hi there,

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Generally these issues are upstream of your connection, likely some ISP or routing issue with the ISP for some reason.

If nobody else reports issues, its likely the case.
