# Simbreif doesnt let me connect to vpilot

Basically my issue is that for some reason when i connect sim breif to Vpilot it says that i have to open vpilot somewhere else this being said i tried doing it another way creating a flight plan on Vatsim website itself but when i press flight plan on vpilot it redirects me into the vatsim website instead of activating my flight plan

You cannot file via vPilot anymore (since March 1 of this year, as far as I can tell).

Filing is now done exclusively via a web browser:

The Simbrief briefing page has a link under “prefile” to the above page.
