# Seating Mess

So Walker Air always wants me to put 148 passengers on a plane that only holds 128 passengers (B737-700). What gives with this? Why do I constantly see at various places around the internet a B737-700 claiming it holds over 128 passengers when the PMDG does not? Is this Simbrief doing this or Walker VA? I have had the same problems with other airlines in the past. It sounds like no one is sure how many passengers this aircraft holds. And I saw no way to change seating config in the PMDG FMC menu. And yeah I know, the aircraft only cares about the ZFW. But others like VAs care about passenger numbers. This PAX and weight and balance stuff has me pulling my hair out.

Simply save an airframe with a max 128 passengers and select that when planning.

EDIT: checked a PMDG 737-700 SWA livery, this has 148pax. A UAL 128pax

Yeah swa 700s are 143 and 800s/max8s are 175
