Request for PA42 Cheyenne 400 LS Profile

Hi team, Is it possible to have a profile created for the PA42 Cheyenne 400 LS. It is in development by CIS JetStream for X-Plane 12 as announced on Discord. ICAO PAY4.

Many thanks.

Just a reminder, please make sure you vote, rather than reacting to the post. The votes are the most important part of wishlists

When it comes to Simbrief profile, in addition to the number of votes, the availability of real-world data for the aircraft profile being requested (for airlines, some sort of FCOM; for General Aviation, usually the POH will include information like time to climb and fuel burn tables required to implement the profile) really helps a lot.

Without the required data, even a thousand votes won’t enable the developers to pluck data out of thin air (although it can probably motivate them to look harder for it).

Regarding the Cheyenne 400, I was undable to find any publicly-accessible variant of the POH in my search today.

Sometimes, if/when they are allowed to do so, the addon developers will assist by sharing the data they have with Simbrief to aid in the creation of a profile. You may want to get in touch with “JetStream FS” to ask whether this is something they can do.

FWIW, it looks like the Cheyenne 400 is their next project and is currently being developed (as per an announcement from 4 days ago) rather than a released addon; so maybe it’s a little early to do so? Still, it never hurts to ask.

Tim

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your response.
Does this file help at all?
Kind regards,
Fred

Not entirely, no. That’s the type certificate, not the POH. It contains some useful information but not nearly enough for what Simbrief needs.

A POH is often/usually several hundred pages long, although not all of it is required for creating the profile.

Here are examples (I’ve extracted the performance section that’s relevant to Simbrief) of the kind of information that is contained in a POH (for different aircraft, obviously, if I had found one for the Cheyenne, then I would have shared it and we wouldn’t be having this discussion):

POH PA-28 extract (performance).pdf (205.0 KB)
POH CT210N extract (performance).pdf (3.2 MB)

Hi Tim,
Thanks anyway. I cannot find a downloadable POH either. Only purchase hardcopy version.
