I noticed that the refresh rate of A/C icons seems to be more frequent compared to Webeye, which is great!
Would it be possible to increase the refresh rate to achieve smoother aircraft movement on the map, similar to FlightRadar?

We have between 1-5 second refresh rate, depending on the source data stream we have with VATSIM and IVAO. So at the moment we are not able to increase it further. (Even if it was possible, a higher refresh rate would also be affecting performance so we need to strike a good balance.)

FlightRadar etc. use extrapolation to fake a higher update rate. Navigraph seems to directly use the updates as they come from the live data feed, which is super-nice. I’d rather see what the network sees than a made-up extrapolation. Then again, given that we now have frequent 1s-updates on VATSIM, extrapolating between those would certainly be fine and smoothing things even more, but that’ll probably take a toll on CPU load (which is already very high for this feature).
