Procedures mismatch - MSFS vs. Charts?

I’m up to date, and seeing different choices in-sim vs. Charts.

FWIW, Foreflight shows BAARN, DELRO (IAF), MAVBE (IAF), and Vectors to Final. So, Charts appears to be missing MAVBE.

Any ideas?

Thank you very much for the details. I have looked deeper into this approach and the transitions.

Jeppesen does not code “embedded” transitions. This means that MAVBE is part of the BAARN transition; therefore, Jeppesen does not code the MAVBE transition as separate.

You wrote that you use MSFS2020, and here we have made a workaround in the core MSFS data, where we add all IAFs as transitions, so the transition should not be missing.

The charts use the raw Jeppesen data; therefore, this transition is not included (reason above).

Can you confirm that you don’t see this transition in MSFS 2020?

Sure thing - how would you like me to do this?

While MAVBE may be a part of the BARRN transition, it’s still recognized by the avionics in the HJet as an IAF (in addition to DELRO) & this is where the left side of my screenshot is from - which mirrors the options in Foreflight as well.

Yes, because HJet reads the MSFS data where we have added this workaround - all IAFs as their own transitions.

However, that is not the case in the charts because they use the raw Jeppesen source, and as I have written, Jeppesen does not code these embedded IAFs as its own transitions.

Do MSFS and Charts both use the same data set, and the workaround is to get Charts working properly?
