Print Route

Can you add a route print function into the Charts desktop app? I was introducing a retired real-world first officer to the sim world and we planned a route to fly in my full sized 737 cockpit. We entered a circuit including departure airport, SID, en-route, STAR, and arrival into the Charts app (see image below). We could see the nice color-coded overlay on the map, but could find no way to print it off. I had to take a screenshot and print that.

Also, when displaying the route, it would be great to be able to overlay the waypoint restrictions (i.e. 4000A 6000B or FL120) and distance between all waypoints so we can have a handy in-hand printout in the cockpit.

Thanks!

Print flight plan from charts. Charts knows distance, bearing, VOR information, waypoints etc. when a plan is visually produced. It would be trivial to provide a print function that would print this information on a checklist for the flight. The old FSCommander did this and it was easy to follow the flight.

Thanks,

Hello! Thanks for posting.

It seems like your request is a duplicate of this already existing topic:

Do you agree?

Probably. I found that I can print my flight plans thru FSTramp so a printing function within Navigraph Charts is not necessary but it would be helpful, especially to those of us who don’t use simbrief or don’t have another way to print the flight plan from Charts.

Thanks,

I’m glad you found a workaround!

It sounds like a cool feature! Since we do agree that it is already covered by the mentioned topic, I will close this one down in order to funnel the votes to one place - that way this feature gets the recognition that it deserves!

Kind Regards,
