NOTAMs old?

Hello everyone,

I plan all of my flights using SimBrief. Since I also regularly fly online on VATSIM, I always check the NOTAMs as well.

I noticed that some rather old NOTAMs are still showing up for Munich Airport (EDDM) in SimBrief. For example:

ILS RWY 26L U/S, starting from 08 June 2026 until further notice.

This NOTAM is still appearing in SimBrief, even though it is no longer valid in reality.

Which database does SimBrief use for its NOTAM data? I have checked the actual NOTAMs for EDDM and also searched online, but I cannot find this NOTAM anymore. It definitely appears to have been cancelled or superseded.

Does anyone know where SimBrief gets its NOTAM data from, and why an outdated NOTAM might still be displayed?

Hi, we use the NMS NOTAMs API. Sometimes there can be a slight delay synchronizing international NOTAMs, or perhaps there was some glitch during a recent sync. Not entirely sure.

We’ve manually resynced the NOTAMs database, and the NOTAM you mentioned has been removed now.
