Navigraph Simlink won't connect to MSFS 2024

Simulator Version

MSFS 2024

Operating System

Windows 10

Description of the Issue

Simlink has stopped connecting to MSFS 2024 for me. I have tried it on two different machines, both Steam installs, same result on both.

I received the error message that MSFS24 cannot connect to Simlink, but Simlink is running. It was working great up until a month ago when I cancelled my account temporarily. Since then, I have resubscribed and that is when the problems started.

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it to no avail. I have looked at the logs, but from the logs there is no connection whatsoever to the sim. I have tried running it in admin, I have looked at the internet connection, at VPN, at windows defender and all I could think of to debug it. Yet nothing works.

The version of Simlink is 1.1.41.1805.

Your log indicates you were connected to SimLink and then lost connection.

Are you running the standard release of MSFS 2024 1.7.35.0, not the Beta?

Do you have any other programs running with MSFS 2024 that use Simlink to connect, such as BeyondATC? Are these connecting correctly?

Did the Simlink connection occur, then disconnect?

Does this occur with a default MSFS 2024 aircraft, such as a Cessna 172?

Please try again and upload the latest dlog.

Cheers

Ian

Hello,

Thank you for your quick response.

I use trackIR and Onair (These have never resulted in any Navigraph issues previously). Recently I tried SayintentionsAI. Navigraph did not work when i flew with sayintentions, yet i don’t know if that is the problem. I have since uninstalled and removed sayintentions but navigraph is not connecting in the sim even then.

I use the standard MSFS24 release from steam, not the beta.

the error did also occur in the default cessna 172.

At not point did i see the location marker of the plane on the navigraph tablet (in game itself as on another device).

I have attached a new log file.

kind regards

Can you try rebooting both your computer, but more importantly, reboot your router.

Hello,

I did both. However that didn’t help either. even when i manually launch simlink again when in flight it deconnects 5 seconds later. When i have simlink open it states simlink connected and broadcasting and when i go in game simlink disappears and i receive the message that simlink needs to be running in the in-game navigraph tablet.

The point of rebooting your router was because SimLink is complaining that your internet connection is dropping
