Just gone to update Airac across sim, aircraft etc but run into an issue I’ve not seen before.
Specifically for items I’m sure used to show in the “Installed outside simulator” tab, which is not visible. Product in question is FSiPanel for MSFS 2020.
Navigraph Hub shows v1.2.24, and FSiPanel show Airac that is ending, I don’t think it pulls Airac from sim, unless I’ve missed some change perhaps.
Any pointers welcomed, hoping I’ve overlooked something obvious…
Thanks for that. Ive now downloaded FMS Data Manager and it does at least “see” FSiPanel.
However, I’m sure I recall seeing the option to update it via the newer Hub product and could swear I’ve done that for some time, by selecting the appropriate tab (in sim vs. outside sim) and other replies also suggest that’s the case.
Navigraph Hub is mainly for MSFS2020/2024 applications, aircraft etc whereas FMS Data Manager is typically used for older sims (P3D etc) and standalone sims (like FSiPanel).
Point FMS Data Manager at the FSiPanel folder and check the AIRAC cycle.
Thanks for the info Gordon, and yes, sure, as an ex P3D user I can recall when FMS Manager was the only tool, and the Hub product superseding it and coinciding with my move to MSFS.
As I said, FMS Managerdoes recognise FSiPanel and the path looks correct, so that’s a good thing, and I should be able to update that Airac now, so thanks for the pointer.
But I’m now questioning my own memory/understanding of the Hub interface with respect to certain applications such as FSiPanel. A quick search found the attached, where the “installed outside sim” tab shows, whereas when I load my Hub up the tab just isn’t there. Pic of that included too.
If I’ve somehow messed up the install, or the Hub product no longer handles products such as FSiPanel, just knowing how things are would be useful.
FSI Panel for P3D should show in FMS Data Manager.
FSIPanel for MSFS 2020 should show in Navigraph Hub. There was a missing item, now fixed. Please confirm you can see and update FSI Panel for MSFS 2020 in Navigraph Hub.
I just took a look at Navigraph Hub, and the MSFS 2020/2024 “installed outside simulator” tab is back, FSiPanel is listed, and updated fine once more. FSiPanel details and cycle_info confirm NAV data is now up to date.
