Hello,
I am experiencing repeated CTDs in MSFS 2020 when using Navigraph Charts Desktop (v8.38.3) during flight.
Description of the issue:
While flying in MSFS 2020 (RTX 4070 SUPER, iGPU enabled for secondary monitor), the Navigraph Charts app turns blank for a few seconds and then MSFS crashes to desktop. This has happened multiple times, even after forcing both MSFS and Navigraph Charts to run on the same dedicated GPU.
Troubleshooting already done:
-
Updated Navigraph Charts to the latest version (v8.38.3).
-
Cleared Cache and GPUCache folders from
%AppData%\Navigraph Charts. -
Reinstalled Navigraph Charts Desktop cleanly (removed
%LocalAppData%\Programs\navigraph-chartsand%AppData%\Navigraph Charts). -
Forced GPU assignment in both Windows Graphics Settings and NVIDIA Control Panel (MSFS + Navigraph Charts both set to “High Performance”).
-
Tested with Simlink disabled – crash still occurs.
-
Using version web charts.navigraph.com works fine (no CTD).

These errors appear in bulk shortly before the crash, suggesting a rendering or resource loading issue inside Navigraph Charts that might affect SimConnect/MSFS integration.
System details:
-
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER + Intel iGPU (multi-monitor setup)
-
OS: Windows 10/11 (specify)
-
MSFS 2020 latest version (specify build)
-
Navigraph Charts v8.38.3
-
Simlink enabled/disabled tested
Could you please investigate this issue? It seems to be a rendering or resource loading failure in Navigraph Charts Desktop that leads to MSFS instability when both are running.
Thank you,
