Hi Navigraph Academy,

I noticed something strange while practicing the landing lesson at Sumburgh Airport (EGPB), Runway 27 in MSFS 2024.

According to the lesson, I should cross the threshold at 61 knots and 50 ft or less, while maintaining 2 white / 2 red on the PAPI on short final.

However, when I fly the correct 2 white / 2 red PAPI indication in MSFS, I end up crossing the threshold at around 100–150 ft. This seems too high to land on the touchdown markings as demonstrated in the lesson.

I also noticed that the PAPI in MSFS appears to guide me toward a point further down the runway, after the two large white aiming-point markings, rather than toward those markings.

Could this be a PAPI/scenery bug or incorrect PAPI positioning in MSFS 2024 for EGPB Runway 27?

Is the 50 ft threshold crossing height in the lesson based on the real-world runway/PAPI geometry?

Thanks!
