# More bandwidth needed

I’m downloading the data update for Little Navmap and you’re throttling me down to 3-4 MB/s.

Can you not give us any more speed than that?

Thanks for your kind posting. We aren’t throttling down anything. By the way, when you have 3-4 MB/s, you need 5-6 seconds to download the LNM package (it is approximately 20 MB large).

it shows a 98.26 MB download at 3.3 MB/s = 29.77 sec which is needlessly slow

Again, we don´t reduce any speed. We offer the data but not the internet infrastructure behind nor can´t (and don´t) we guarantee any throughput/bandwidth. I´m sorry.
