sorry this is a MSFS limitation, it´s since the first release day - read here our “Known issues”:

STAR-Approach limitation (truncate waypoints, odd flightpaths, pseudo waypoints)

The following information is based on MSFS version 1.13.16.0 and AIRAC 2101.
