I’ve witnessed a known issue regarding to MSFS2024 with the priority loading where SIDs/STARs are missing with the current AIRAC update. The problem is I’ve uninstalled the custom scenery at Kuwait INTL airport to walk around this problem. Surprisingly, I got the old ICAO code (OKBK) in the simulator resulting MCDU not recognizing the old ICAO (OKBK), plus SIDs & STARs issue still persist. Tried to search for the new ICAO (OKKK) but it seems not recognized by the sim.
Tried to uninstall and reinstall the AIRAC from Navi-Hub with the custom airport uninstalled but nothing has changed.
Although Fenix aircrafts doesn’t has this issue and it works with the new ICAO (OKKK) perfectly.
little guidance is much appreciated.

Hi Mohammed,
Tim wrote that it´s usually an MSFS issue (2020/24). In 2024, it´s also a priority loading issue because 2024 ASOBO/MS changed its logic. So, not only the navdata packages but also the scenery must comply with it. And that’s the issue at the moment: no one (or at least only a few) knows this and knows about this. But I guess it´s only a transition phase; with time, all will follow these new rules.
In the meantime, we can´t (and honestly won´t) offer any solution. It won´t, therefore, because these are only manual workarounds, which can be difficult when you don´t know precisely what you do or the results.
If you see the wrong ICAO code, please report it to ASOBO/MS because we may not change the ICAO codes (the same as the runway idents).
I know it’s not the best solution, but we can´t offer any other solution at the moment without the risk of “destroying your system”—or at least producing unknown CTDs.
Thank you very much for the instant reply sir. I can imagine the efforts that you guys putting in and can imagine the workload specially for brand new simulator with new logic and rules.
Let’s hope ASOBO/MS would suggest something to resolve this issue very soon.
Appreciate your reply sir and thanks for clarifying things out.
Thank you very much, Mohammed, for these kind words. We do our best, but sometimes our best is not enough … for some things, we need support from ASOBO/MS. But I´m pretty sure the new MSFS2024 will succeed shortly. I trust ASOBO/MS even when they released the sim too early (my opinion).
Thanks again, Mohammed, for this answer. Much appreciated …
Enjoy your Sunday
