I’ve been dealing for some time with an issue with my MSFS 2024. It started with Sim Update 5 and it now continues with Sim Update 6. I have the latest version of the simulator as of the 20th of August 2026 (1.8.14.0)
The problem I will explain now has been present with both 2607 and 2608 navdata cycles. With 2606 and before this was never an issue. I am missing the VTN and DGO VORs from Chile as well as the SAL NDB also from Chile. Of course, the 3 of them are still operational in real life.
The 3 of them are quite close to each other near Santiago (SCEL). All those navaids appear on the World Map when choosing the starting point of my flight. However, in the tablet and also for navigational purposes they don’t appear.
Not only there is no response when tuning the frequency of those navaids near their location. They also don’t appear as waypoints in the FMS/GPS of any plane that relies on the Navigraph MSFS 2024 data.
I’ve tried many suggestions posted in other topics, such as deleting content.xml or disabling and enabling the Navigraph addons from the library. Sometimes this solves the issue immediately. However, next time I start the sim, the problem reappears.
Since those navaids are part of some SCEL SIDs and STARs, I thought that maybe LatinVFR SCEL scenery might be causing conflict. However, even removing that scenery from the community folder doesn’t make the navaids reappear. And before 2607, the scenery caused no conflict with the navaids, and the scenery hasn’t been updated in years.
There are plenty of other navaids associated with SCEL SID/STAR/APPR procedures. Many of them are even closer to SCEL than SAL, DGO and VTN. However, they can be used without issues
I have no other scenery from the region, and also I don’t install new addons into the community folder too often.

I removed everything from Community except the Navigraph folder. Also, my Community2024 folder is empty. I attach screenshots that show what those folders have right now.
However, VTN, DGO and SAL still do not appear at the tablet. I attach a screenshot of what the tablet looks like. I also added the approximte locations of where VTN, DGO and SAL are located.
I am having same issue. I have found it is only tied to flight plans I file with simbrief. For example I can pull up the waypoints you are missing but can’t pull up the ones I am missing. This is very strange behavior.

You see, all your “missing” navaids are available.
Can you delete your content.xml file in your LocalCache\<your xboxid> folder? Further, can you delete your rolling cache file, please? After that, restart the sim and try it again, please!
Thanks for the fix instructions, but I think there is a strange bug here. Why would only nav data be missing where we create flight plans and no where else. In another post I mentioned how I lost data in Sacramento area only when I was flying there. Then I lost data only in northern Michigan when I was flying there and the Sacramento data was okay. Is it rolling cache? But then why is it the only specific waypoints of the flight plan?
Deleted Rolling cache and content.xml and still no joy. my next step, which usually fixes, is a complete re-install of sim. something got corrupted that is just not being fixed. Just think it is strange to only happen to routes that I file in simbrief.

I recently installed the newest update from the Microsoft Store. Now my MSFS 2024 is in version 1.8.16.0. I also updated to the 2609 Navigraph cycle.
Even with all my addons removed from the Community folder, except for everything Navigraph, the navaids still didn’t appear. However, I found out that by deactivating and activating the Navigraph stuff from the MSFS library the navaids return. Still, I have to do this every time I start the simulator if I want the navaids to appear.
The situation remains exactly the same after I returned all content to the Community folder.
Still, I decided to dig deeper and check the content.xml file in various stages. Long story short, the content.xml file is exactly the same immediately after opening he simulator (with the navaids not appearing), and after re-activating the navigraph stuff from the library (with the navaids appearing)
Do you know why this might be happening?

One question: Have you bought any scenery from Marketplace?
The reason for this question is that/enabling or disabling the package, the SIM reorders the installed packages. So, when you don´t have any in your community folder, I´m curious if you have bought some via the Marketplace?
